Sometimes Just a New Wig Helps Pt.4 (Countess Darrow)

I honestly thought about getting rid of my ancient Vampire, but putting her into a new wig, REALLY made all the difference.  I tend to go to blondes/silvers/whites for hair, and when the skin is white, light colored wigs, really don't work.  The first wig I put her in was the Roxie 8-9, #456 Burgundy Monique Gold Collection. WOW, not only did it fit with out a wig cap, it brought our her skin and eyes much better.  It's a lot more flattering on her, without it being so long and over bearing.  I still have much to write about her background, but she looks a hundred times better now and not so desperate looking.  Plus it really goes with her Dollheart Purple Fer, that she lives in.

Meet Countess Darrow

Okay, so earlier this year, I had ordered a Dark Elf Soo (DES) from Luts and wound up with a Vampier Dark Elf Soo (VDES).  I was mad, considering that I paid for it, but the hassle of sending it back was worse than the $100.00 I was. I sent her off to get faced-up and she turned out great.  I was waiting on her new Dollheart Purple Fer to show her off.  Still waiting for her purple velvet shoes and proper wig also.

I still don't know much about her, but that she is a Countess, her last name is Darrow, and she is a Vampire. Not sure if she's good, neutral or evil, but she's already found my other toys and have claimed them as her own.  

I really want an overcast day to get some good pictures of her, considering she doesn't really like the sun much, and can only be outdoors when it's cloudy.

Belated Valentines from Reddiker Woodes

So, with everything that is going on with the doll room/scrap booking room, we have a monthly photo contest that we do for our local group, and naturally this month was Love/Valentines.  I was waiting for a dress and shoes to come in for Constance, and although it's not her regular head, she got dressed and Minnie Paws and Newt joined in.

A Tale of Heads

Okay, so when I decided on changing out "Serenity" and getting the right body, one of the things that was driving me nuts was not having her head.  I love her head from Luts, because when I had thought up the character almost four years ago, she had elf ears, and was quite frankly, an elf.  I love the Dillui sculpt, but she's not the character that I had originally had in my head, because she doesn't have the right ears.  You wouldn't think that something that small would make such a difference in the overall scheme of things, but it does.
 

So break to when I ordered the same sculpt head from Luts back in December. I figured, well, I'll have both heads, the Soom Dillui head that came with the body, and then the new Dark Elf Soo head that I have come to love.  But the Dark Elf Soo head needed to be face-up lighter than what Serenity's head was.  She's dark, and we are trying to stay away from the totally Dark Side of the Universe for a while.  So I put in an order to LUTS for a lighter face up version of the Dark Elf Soo.  What I finally got was this...

Luts sent me a Vampire Dark Elf Soo head.  What the hell am I suppose to do with this?  I've never really had a character done up fully for a female vampire, and right now still don't.  I have been emailing, and emailing, and EMAILING Luts to get this fixed and still they haven't responded.  I'm so upset about this.  I really don't want to have to buy another one or try and get this one modded to have the eyes fixed, but she's not going to work for what I want for her to do.
