Take Me Out to the Ball Game

FireHoth got us tickets to go and see the Chicago Cubs, (best team ever) play the Colorado Rockies (our home team) the other week, and it was Little Man's first time at a game.  Wow, he enjoyed it so much.  Not sure if he really enjoyed the game, being outside for so long or all of the junk food he was allowed to eat but he liked it.  Unfortunately the Rockies swept the Cubs in this latest three of three series.  We will have to go next year, but since they come back in April, we might get a "snow delay". My poor Cubbies, maybe next year.

   
Little Man has outgrown his first Cubs hat and has taken mine over.  It's adjustable so he should be able to keep this for a while.  Cubs hat, Rockies jersey.  He's going to need so much therapy. 

    
He has his own Dinger now and has been taking him everywhere with him. We had club level seats so I had to test the camera to see just how good my boys came in.  They look good on film, but just couldn't make the last run stick.

    
 
 

 
 
   

GET IN THE BOX...

Little Man got to go to his first arena type of game last weekend and he loved it.  FireHoth got tickets to go and see the Colorado Mammoth playing their first home game against the Rush.  He got to ride the light rail to downtown, which he just loves and got his first time to see the Pepsi Center up close and personal. He's learning all about playing Lacrosse and I would love for him to pick this up in school.  We hadn't seen a game at home since Little Man was born.  We actually had box seat tickets just before he came into our lives, but never got a chance to use them. I think we'll be getting season tickets again. Him and I got decked out in brand new shirts and I got to go to the teen section to get mine :)

    

    

 
 
 
 
 

Steel Curtains Hit Hard

So now they have to have both hands to wear all of those rings.  SIX BABY, COUNT THEM SIX WINS.  It was a hair raising, TV swearing, adrenaline rush ride, sloppy, but they pulled it out.  Congratulations to all of my Pittsburgh homies.

Bronco Day

Well, even though this weekend, they so totally sucked on so many friggen levels.  Almost felt like burning everything blue and orange, but I thought twice about it.  Little Man got a brand new Bronco Cutler Shirt and fall jacket.  Not sure where the cheesy smile is from, but I'm pretty sure he could throw better than Cutler.
