Seriously, kindergarten already for Little Man? That's crazy. Has it been a full five years already? Yes, Yes it has. The summer went way too quick. Whatever happened to getting out in June and not going back to school until AFTER Labor Day? An entire three months of summer vacation?
Ugh, next they will be going all year round. NOT ON MY WATCH. Thank god he's in a school district that still believes that kids should have summer off to do nothing. But wiht fall in the air, and commercial ads of "back to school" and notebooks, tape, and pencils being for sale it is that time again. Thursday was the first full day of school of what is going to be a long 13 years of first. I'm not sure if Little Man has figured out that he has 13 years of school, plus college, but hopefully he'll enjoy it for as long as he can.
I get to make lunches now, which is actually a treat. He grazes all day long so I had to get a lunch box that is big enough for his appetite.
And the necessary first day of school pictures. I really dont' think he cared if we were there or not, but too bad, he will always have those "first" pictures taken.
