Princess & The Pea Bedding

Yeah, I'm just overjoyed with JoAnna's new bedding.  It arrived from Canada care of lace52000 and I couldn't be happier.  We are going to work on my SD (Constance's) bed and my MSD (Evelynn's) bed in the next few months and I can't wait.  I've been wanting these two beds to be done up for so long and now that I know what I want they are going to be great.  Now to find the proper colors.

Even the box and enclosed letter was done up pretty.

   

The bedding is so much bigger in person and the heart flowers are almost the size of the palm of your hand.  The third set of mattresses down is the coordinating sheet set (one with the white lace).  I still don't want to take it apart for the sheet, I just love how it looks all made up.

I took many, MANY pictures of the sets on the bed and of the room itself.  I don't know when this girl is going to get here, but she'll have one of the best rooms in the Doll House, and a very pretty place to lay her head.

   

I actually took the head/foot boards of because the bolsters are just so much better and look more appropriate.

   

I just want to be shrunk and sleep here.

   

Great landscape shot of room.  Still a few more things to be put up on the walls for the loft and a bunch of stuff to do for the perfume shop above.  But overall, I'm very pleased with how this is coming about.

This past week, I had even been able to get the other pieces of furniture painted.  The couch will be going though, because I found the matching chaise lounge to the tufted chair.

I took the Rement wardrobe from Ash and put the top back on it, and placed it here by her washroom.  I just got the mylar mirror over the weekend and need to place the shelf on the wall.

The perfume shop is a little plain right now, but it'll get there. Sonya has just been running her claws in the ground trying to get caught up, so she needed a rest.

Cat's Do Have Nine Lives

Poor little Sonya has been in the Woodes for so long, but she has never really had a good story or photos taken of her.  Well that's about to change.  With the upcoming JoAnna coming in (hopefully before the end of the year), Sonya will get to have a job.  Over JoAnna's room will be a little Steampunk type perfume boutique shop and Sonya is going to be the owner.  It not only gets her back in some stories, but it helps to finish out the top of the Doll House room. I'm still working on both rooms, and haven't even had a chance to make any of the little items in the shop yet (or come up with a name), but that's okay.  I wanted to get some pictures of her first and play around with the settings on the camera. 

Sonya was my first tiny, and first animal doll and she's just so cute.  She's got a great attitude and an even better body, especially for a cat. I've got to find her something better to wear than just the white dress, or her original outfit, it just doesn't fit her personality.

Tiny Little Perfume Shop

Well, I didn't get in on this round of the Enchanted Doll run, but I've got a ton of stuff that I need to do before she gets here anyway.  One, I still need to work on her room, and I think I've been putting it off, because I didn't know what I was going to do with the top part of her room.  She'll have her entire room (consisting of tiled bathroom, bedroom, living quarters and small kitchenette), just like a proper French/Victorian loft.  

But the top part of her room/box was going to be left open and exposed and I didn't know what I was going to do with that space.  I didn't really want to leave it just open and exposed, and left for clutter. The original papers that I had up, have all been ripped down, awaiting new ones to be put up.  The pink/black stripes just weren't working for me.

So while on or board we had been discussing about little props and finding other objects to go along with our little beauties and one of the ladies found Jean Nordquist's site.  She's got a ton of little French, Victorian old style crafts to make for seven-eight inch and tall dolls, so I had to get a set.  The first set I got was the Parfumerie Project.  It comes with all of the supplies for the most part that you need, templates, cut outs and most important the little glass bottles.

Now I know exactly what I'm going to do to the top part of her loft and it can be used for the other tinies in the house also.  I'm going to make it into a little boutique like shop. More for her, but others can use it also.  This way it will all be incorporated and match and all of the little glass bottles of perfume, soaps, brushes, books, etc, etc, etc.
