Before & After

I have only had Claudia, Bethany and Pearl back at Reddiker Woodes for months and need to get these pictures off from my computer. I sent them out to winternightpoem for new faces and they came back wonderful. Before I had sent them out I was actualy contemplating on selling them.  Well they came back and I'm so glad with how they turned out they will be staying.  These pictures don't do them justice, but I'll get better pictures up soon.

I know that they (the Leas) were basic, but I actually paid to have special faceups on them from teh company, and it hardly looked like they had any done to them. Pear (Christmas Elf Miel) looked a little better becuase she was a limited edition, but still not the potential that she could have.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mummy wrapped girls. Even in their cocoons they look SO much better. I actually kept them in their wrappings for a couple of days cause they just looked so cute.

Bethany, (Lati Yellow Lea, white skin) looks a million times better, all the girls do, but wow, what a difference. She still has that far off look, but she's not so angry now.

Pearl (Lati Yellow Christmas Elf Miel LE) She's so cute. She is perfect now for her Love Shack and sending out candy and offering up advice. Those ears kill me.

Offering From the Love Shack

Pearl and Claudia went to DDE several days ago to upgrade their vision.  We've gone from the normal default 12mm eyes, to smaller 10mm eyes.  The new eyes are a much improved look.  The smaller the eye, the more mature they look.  But Bethany didn't get to go and she is very upset about it.

Pretty much same color as the 12mm, but they look much better.

Bethany is not pleased about her sisters eyes or Pearls.  

Bethany is blaming me???? 

Pearl thinks that she can help and make things better.

Maybe an offering of lollipops might help?  

 

Mini Construction

Construction on Rumm House has started. 

When Wysp first came into the house I wanted her to have her own little spot over at the Lati Wonderland Table.  I had gotten her a 1/2 scale house and although it was cute, I just couldn't get it finished for some reason.  I still have it and will keep it, but it wont be used for the little ones right now. With so many little ones that are on their way here or who have already gotten here, there needed to be something that could house all of them.  So there will be about six or so in residents in one three story tower house.  Many of the little ones are either still in route, or off at the spa, so the next thing to do is get their house done.  My girls, Claudia, Bethany and Pearl said that since others are going to be invading their territory, they'd help make the accommodations nice.  They do have certain standards that they live up to.  Not just any old house can be their.

Girls dressed in their work attire have set off to make a very comfortable living arrangement.  It's being called Rumm House, not sure why, or if they serve hot buttered rum yet, but the name has stuck.

      

       

Even big enough for their girls to stay, but the all have their own spaces.  This will be for tinies and incoming residents.  A sort of transitional stop before entering the Woodes.
 

       

        

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Camera Tricks

Just have been playing around with all of my cameras, and can't believe that since Little Man has been born, I've bought about six new cameras, what is That? Well, the first one needed to be idiot proof, and it held up fantastically in the operating room while he was being born, but at 6 mega-pixels, couldn't keep up with me. And it was a bear to lug around, so back to my old point and clicks, and within two years, 8 & 10 mega-pixels came out.  One broke and died a horrible death, one got spots on the inside of the lens, so every-time I'd take a wide picture, there was always some spot sitting there, that I couldn't get rid of.  So onto the heavier Canon Power Shot and as much as I love this one, it's still to big to carry in my purse, but takes perfect pictures of the dolls and at length also.  My little Canon is great, and with it being 12 mega-pixels is really nice, and I can carry it in my back pocket when rushed, but I've noticed that it's not taking the pictures I really like for the dolls.  I can't zoom in on them from across the room, without a lot of noise in the picture, so I dug out my Canon Power shot and started playing around with it again.  With the little ones on the main level I get constant daylight to help out instead of using the evil flash.  So, just playing around with the tinies and seeing if I'll go back to this camera or not and just keep my point and shoot in my purse. My girls and Ash helped me out on Friday.

 

 

  
 
 
 

Girls Ready for Spring

Several weeks ago I was able to custom order some beautiful knitted outfits for the girls from Dark Fairy on Etsy.  They are the cutest things.  And even though the twins usually wear just black and white, I have them in orange right now, but they both match.  So after the post office stopped holding the outfits hostage, the girls got dressed for spring.  Pearl will probably change a few more times, but with it still being cool, Claudia and Bethany will be in their outfits till summer.  The twins are in their default shoes, but I'm thinking on getting two pairs of orange and a pair of purple so they really match.

     

     

 
 
 
 
 

Party Planners

While getting set up for our four year anniversary meet last week, the girls wanted to get dressed up also. Everyone wanted their bunny hats.  Even JoAnna came by, but she's not sure about the little ones. She knows that Wysp in her mind is real, but not about the twins.

     

   

Pearl is setting up shop again.  She's serious about it this time.

Claudia & Bethany Getting Ready

That's right, just a week from today, we have out four year anniversary meet of the COBJD doll group, and there is just a buzz around the Woodes, and the house itself. But before all of the festivities, I had to get the girls pictures off form the camera.  I've had weeks worth of pictures, and with loosing my voice this past week, Little Man being sick and now FireHoth has gotten it, I've got some much needed energy to get some pictures done before the meet up. And that includes Claudia, Bethany, Pearl and Ash at Lati Land.

I had purchased this rickshaw bike a few weeks ago, after getting a regular bike from one of the ladies in our club.  The rickshaw bike I've been trying to hunt down for months actually and found it at my favorite spot in Canada at Victoria Miniland. I bought it more or less for JoAnna but she's a little too tall for it, and the twins are a little two short, but it makes for a great prop, and it's so well made.  They decided not to be too upset with me, since they haven't been getting the attention they deserved, but decided to pose without too much of a protest.  I still need to get them in their party gear for next week.

Pearl & the Twins

Pearl and Claudia and Bethany got to go a Dolly meet last weekend, and I didn't even notice that they were all dressed in the same colors.  But they looked cute. I just love these three, and can't wait for the Ninjas to come in.

    

    

   
 
 
 
 
 
 

New Love Shack

So with the construction of Lati World, Pearl finally got her new house also. I've only had it sitting around for several months, and got it done over the weekend.  I basically used the same papers that I used on her first house and so glad that I did. I love the colors, it's very cheerful and works for Pearl.  Even got to Norms over the weekend and bought more shop cabinets and bottles for the Shack also.  So before and after pictures for now.  She even got a Valentine table for February.
