Oh, so last Saturday was Little Man's Three year old birthday, and not only with improved social skills, he knows what's going on this time. For two days he was going around singing "Happy Birthday" to himself, and new that family and friends were coming over. I hadn't really planned a party, but wanted to see some friends that we hadn't seen in a while and his birthday was a great excuse for it. Maybe next year, he'll get to have some little friends of his over, but this year it was just totally relaxed and spontaneous.
Birthday morning by his sign. I got this sign on his first birthday party, which was a Happy Feet theme. I didn't want to get a banner that he couldn't re-use so this one, we can use for the rest of his life, and it'll be fun to take his picture next to it every year.
Waiting for his "peeps".
I actually asked him what he wanted this year for his birthday, and the first things out of his mouth was "blue cupcakes", so that's what we got, and I'm still trying to get the blue off from his skin.
But, because he's my boy, and a neat freak, he opted to eat the rest with a fork. Love him.
Had to get a kiss from Nana.
Little Man had to show Nana how to play with the Legos also.
Finally, a chance to open up some presents.
Cars, Trucks, and Action Figures, what more could he want?
An entire race track, that's what.
After daddy set up the track/parking garage, we didn't hear from him for about two hours.
And it might have been his birthday, but his present to me was falling asleep in the rocker, in my arms like he did the night he was born. PRICELESS.
