Well, the girls, Claudia, Bethany and Pearl got the Gate House done and almost open for business. We still have some beams to put up and some shelves on the inside of the swing wall, but Rumm (FL RealPuki Tyni) is starting to settle in. I am SO happy how this turned out. I actually took a lot of time to make sure all of the corners of the papers were cut good, and painted and let it dry before I went to the next steps. I love his house and I think it'll be a great "stopping point" or "coming in" point.
Sides and Back. All glued and taped waiting to dry.
This is the front that is going to be hinged to the front of the three sides.
Kitchen table full of working equipment to get the house done.
The wood to this dollhouse is so nice and so clean. This was a dream to put together.
About a year or so ago I had gotten some brick wallpaper for Pearls house and never used it, but thank god I kept it. It worked perfectly for Rumm House. I was able to cover the entire thing in the six or so sheets I had.
Roof or attic room has been painted gray and glitter added to them. The inside is painted yellow with stripped wall paper.
I even had my own little fairy help me paint the inside of the house.
I turned the house upside down, and painted the ceilings white with a fan brush to give it some more texture and light for pictures.
The bottom floors also are stone.
Glitter for the roof and window dormer.
Rumm's desk and working area.
Back entrance is wrought iron.
Entire house with dormer, shutters done, and with attached swing door.
All proper furniture in the house.
