Edith & Agnes see a Wysp

See no evil, speak no evil, say no evil.  Wysp has made her presence known to the Poe sisters and I think only for the simple fact that they will have potions and elixirers in the shop.  They make a great trio, but usually when three of the gang get together, trouble happens.

Spampy Wear

Finally.  I had totally forgotten than I had these on my camera. Way behind on pictures, but it's all good.  The Poe sisters each got new outfits for the upcoming winter season.  They will be working till wee hours of the night in the apothcary shop and will need to be toasty and warm.  But Agnes seems to forget sometimes that outfits are for both her and her sister Edith.  You'll see what I mean.

AGNES: Hey Edith, where did you get that hat?

EDITH: I got it from her, Meguone. It's keeping my head nice and warm.

 

AGNES: You, behind the camera, can I have a hat like that?

ME: Well of course you can. Edith has it for you.

AGNES: Yeah, thank you.  This goes really well with our dresses.

 

AGNES:  You know, you really should get us some other outfits to wear for the winter time.  I've heard that it's cold up in the shop, and we might have to go outside to gather our stock.

 

EDITH: Like these. There so fluffy and warm.

 

AGNES: AAAGGGHH, why is it I haven't been getting the memos on what's coming in for us?

 

EDITH: They match our boots perfectly. OHHH, so warm.

 

AGNES: See, see what I mean.  I need to know what's going on here. I do like them so thank you.

ME: You should thank the person who made them for you.  She's a rock star.

 

BOTH: Thank you aunt spampy.

Potions and Brews

Are a mixing.  I've had, or the Poe Sisters have had some time to get the shop ready for visitors and started to place the labels on all of the bottles.  Next all they need to do is fill them.  It will be interesting to see what they fill everything with and the bigger question, where did they find everything????

Poe Sisters had some Visitors

So the other week we had "movie night" and Shlee's Blaire hooked up forces with my Poe Sisters.  They caused all kinds of destruction on the kitchen table.  I think the girls want to use Blaire in some experiments.

Edith says this is my Chair.

Serenity says hello to Will the Wombat, and the rest of the tinies gang up.

 Agnes wonders who would be better for experiments, Blaire, or Will????

 

AGNES: Edith, we must discuss this further.  What if we turn him into a giant bear.

AGNES: Blaire, how did you get up here?

 

EDITH: Oh, god, she's never going to leave us alone, is she? Maybe working with Will would be better.

  

Then just silliness started with a bear in a bag.

Edith and Agnes just crack me up.

 

Our good friend, Shadowowl is making some awesome steampunk goggles for one of Wendifreds  little ones, and they are just darling.  Everyone wants a pair now.   

 

   

Poe Sisters Setting Up Shop

Edith and Agnes have waited for this almost as long as I have.  The shop is finally getting ready to open. Glasses are clean and tops have been painted.  Now it's just the matter of sitting down, adhering the labels and filling them with all kinds of goodies.  I love waking up and their cabinet is the first thing I see when I walk out in the morning.

I got this four boxed drawer from Hobby Lobby like years ago, and it never seemed like it fit anywhere in the house.  Now with the shop, it's perfect for using for storage and a place to put a live plant that gets morning sun.

  

 

I've got a ton of labels that I've gotten from some great Etsy makers and they are in all sizes and will look so great on the shelves and especially when the girls fill them.  

 

NO MORE DOLLS (yeah, right)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I CAN'T BUY ANY MORE DOLLS FOR THE YEAR. (Its a hazard living so close to DDE)  YEAH, We'll see how I stick to that.  Hasn't worked in the past. But I've finally gotten the two lovelies to take care of the WoodRose Apothecary shoppe, and I think they will do very well.  THey have a lot more personality to them already.  Their predecessors, Vermillion and Crimson will be re-homed to someone special.

Agnes Poe is the white skin full package along with sleeping head, and outfit and shoes. I've also got Spampy working on some cute outfits for them t wear around the shop. If I can get them to agree to showing off their new residents this week, I will post pictures. But here are just some basics and them fooling around.

     

      

I am so much more of a "darker" nature with the dolls than I am for the happy, perky ones, and these little girls are just adorable.  The faceups on both by FL are really good.  I'd love to have their bodies blushed eventually, but I really like the faces for both of the sisters.

    

Agnes in her full default outfit.  The outfit has lots of pieces to it and it's so cute.  I don't know when she'll be in her sleeping face, but I'm glad that I have it now.

    

And in some really cute old Efldoll dresses I had laying around. I totally forgot I had two of them, and going to see if I can find anymore of them around or call DDE for them. Them in these dresses remind for some reason of the two old sisters in Arsenic and Old Lace.

  
 
   
 
 
 
  
 

Bring Your Zombie To Work Day, Not Take one or Two Home.

I love the fact that I'm in Denver.  I love this town.  I also love the fact that I'm within a mere 7 minutes if that of Denver Doll Emporium.  But my check book isn't liking it. Thursday I think was "take your Zombie" to work day, and I had plans on taking the two zombies I actually have chained up in the doll room, but totally spaced it out.  I had to go to DDE anyway to pick up some small Banji's that Miss "W" thought could live with her gang, but there was going to be a full blown West Side Story fight if they had stayed.  So back home to me, but before that could happen, I had to check out the two little Puki Puki's they had.  My Banji boys are going to be re-homed.  I had never really gotten anymore than their names down for the last five years and even their names changed. THey are suppose to run the Wood Rose Apothecary Shoppe and have been slacking.

But before all of that, here is Will, Zombie and soon to be Edith and Agnes. As of all the dolls, I was forced into buying them. LOL
