Two Heads are Better Than One

Evelynn has been down in the living room for several weeks, and I've been able to get some new pictures of her from the new camera.  She's even more beautiful than what I remembered.  I love my ghost girl and this might be the year her room gets re-done :)

      

      

      

     
 

  
 
 
 
 
 
 

Bloomers and Corsets

Several days ago I was fortunate to get one of Melancholy Kitties great designs for MSD size.  The outfit includes a very pretty blue glitter under-bust corset.  It's originally made for Unoa dolls, but I had to have it for my Evelynn.  I mean after all she's Victorian and should have  proper corset. Along with the corset I was able to get a pair of her striped bloomers and they are so cute.  Kat also did the blushing and faceup on my JoAnna.  Here is Evelynn in both. I'm not sure where she will wear them out to, but she fills it out very well.

I Don't Even Have This Many Closets

Yes, my dolls are very spoiled.  Over the winter we had actually made a little closet that I thought I was going to put some of the Little ones clothes in.  It was going to sit on the wall, in front of Hyacinth Cottage, but it's never gotten up yet.  So while out last week at Target, I spotted this, and already done.

     
 
It's the Our Generation doll wardrobe, and completely built.  I love the idea of the shelves on the left, the little drawer and the mirror with seat.  The little bows just kill me.  

     

Here is Evelynn testing it out with her clothes.  It's perfect for the 16inch MSD's.  I think I'm going to be putting in all of theirs, (Evelynn, Harley & Nyteshade) and probably Izzy's. 

 

It even has holes and molly bolts to attach to the wall, but for now, I have it sitting over House Mysterium. So I still have the room for the first one we made, and might actually be able to arrange the little ones clothes even better.

     
 
 
 
 

Sometimes Just a New Wig Helps Pt.2 (Evelynn)

Evelynn was in desperate need of a new wig.  With her pale skin, and even paler eyes, blond, ash blond, dirty blond, silver really wasn't doing it.  So now she's in a Monique Hannah 7-8, #75 Carrot Red collection wig.  This really brings out her skin and dead eyes much better than her pale wigs.  It's such a pretty wig, and so soft, and really works well with her black/red Gothic outfit.  I can't wait to see her in it in her "open eyed" head and other outfits.

   

A long day of shopping and talking to friends can wear a dead girl out.

Her Own Wand

Evelynn's walking stick/wand came in the mail before Christmas and it matches her Dark Queen of Hearts outfit perfectly.  This is actually a Hair Stick, but can be used as wands, walking sticks, whatever.  With the ones that I've been collecting lately, I need to make one for each of the dolls to use.  They are a perfect size for SD and MSD.  I think a little tall for the 27 inch dolls, (6 1/4 inch tall) but I'll have to take comparison pictures to see. For the 27 inch dolls, like Izzy, Hayden and even Battina, they could be an actual walking stick.  

This one is a black lacquered stick. It was originally gotten to be used in the wedding for my hair, but I like it with Evelynn for now.  The main heart stone is a black onyx, red Czech flower and pressed glass hearts.  These will be so easy to make and so much fun. I might even start selling these depending on how quick they go.

  

  

With Evelynn having so many multiple hands to choose from, the stick fits perfectly in most of all of them.

  

  

Merry Christmas Evelynn

Even though it's Christmas day my ever persistence to post will not fail, even today.   I'm just too organized I guess, but content.  While opening presents and visiting with family, Evelynn wanted to show off her new outfit also.  Not so new, (sitting in her wardrobe for about five months), but new to her.  She's extremely festive for today, and I've been wanting to get her in this one for a while now, and think she'll stay in it for a few weeks. I've got a black mourning outfit for her, but don't want to put her in it just yet.

  

  

  

  

  

  

In The Raw (Evelynn's Day Two)

... well, not actually in the raw but close enough.  This is the reason why I love these dolls.  They are so lifelike, and so expressive.  How can you not take the time to photograph them????  While doing Evelynn's shoot the other day, in between outfits she decided to stay bare for a while, and these are the pictures.  For a ghost she's got it going on.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Sorry Miss Bradshaw

Because there hasn't been enough Evelynn lately.

Busy being drowsily happy.

Miss Evelynn has had her Purple Dollheart Fer for months now, and I've been way to busy to get her pictures in it.  She's actually received several outfits since the summer that need a photo-shoot, but I really needed to get this one done first.  I've put her "sleepy" head on, and put in her white eyes from her open-eyed head, to give her more of that "ghostly" feeling I've been wanting for her.  

One of the things I wanted to do with the dolls this year, was take each one and carry them around with me in the house for a week.  I have a dedicated chair in the living room and in the bedroom, on my night-stand that they can sit safely and comfortably.  But I wanted to reconnect with each one, one week at a time and get pictures, backgrounds/histories, and wardrobe changes at the same time.  Well, I've got the chairs where they need to be, but so far, only Evelynn has been hanging out with me, and for longer than a week.  Oh well, this little task will get done, and with the amount of dollies (well over 25+) it'll take a while. But I calculate that almost half a year will be great posts for me to do, but until then, my little ghost, Evelynn gets the spotlight for now.

Testing from iPhone

First post from the iPhone. I've been wanting to work with Evelynn lately, so she's been traveling around the house. Also working on using both my thumbs to type. Evelynn is sitting on my lap to have her story told. I've put on her sleeping head and changed her wig. She's also been wearing her Dollheart Purple Fer lately and looks quite elegant and sad.

Ghostly

So just one quick picture.  I was taking out eyes the other day, and had forgotten all about this really nice set of pearly whites.  I never knew if I could use them, or who they would be for, but my little Ghost really demanded them.  I've always put just regular eyes in my ghost's head, and it never seemed to look right. So Evelynn finally got the right type of eyes.  Now I just have to find one pair for her sleeping head.  I really like how she looks now, very eerie.
