Nothing makes me happier than getting a little caught up on pictures with the dolls. :)

While getting Evelynn done the other day, I had glanced at Harley Quinn and Mr. Nyteshade, and words were said, but unspoken between the two.  I wonder what they are plotting.

Old Character, New Face

Several days ago, almost a week now, my lovely MNF DES head came back from Pepstars World, and she turned out wonderfully. Better than I could've imagined.  Here is what she looked like when she first came in, and below is her now.  I had Pepstar do her face so she isn't wearing her mask all of the time, and has the new Dollheart Plaid School outfit, along with her actual Harley Quinn outfit and she has a black Mourning dress for when she's really sinister.  Ash got a chance to see her first and doesn't like the idea that she's here.

ASH: Who the heck is this?

  

ASH: She looks like she could be a problem.

ASH: I'm pretty sure she's going to pose a viable threat...

ASH: I must know why she's here, and get to the bottom of this.

ASH: Of course, from this vantage point, I don't see any weapons, but who knows what she could be concealing.

ASH: I feel so insignificant right now.

ASH: What am I going to tell Isabella?

HARLEY: Excuse me, are you one of my minions?

ASH: NO, I'm not one of your minions.  I am an important Scribe, sent here to to intercede between the beings of Reddiker Woodes.

HARLEY: Oh, my, why you are a funny little thing.  I think I shall keep you as a pet.  I'm sure I can locate a nice little birdcage for you. *hee* *hee* *hee*  I will name you Squirt. 

(Harley goes on talking to herself, as she does, not paying much attention to anything or anyone around her)

ASH: Oh, I can see things going horribly wrong, soon.

Temporary Harley Quinn

So with one of FL's event heads being a Mini Dark Elf Soo, I had to get her. I wasn't sure at first when I saw her on the site that I was going to actually replace her head with my old Luts Delf Ttori head, but when she got here and I saw how cute the head looked, I had to just switch them and sell of the old body and head.  I can't believe that I actually sold her either.  When I had first gotten into the BJD's, I had thought that I was only going to get and have one, well, yeah, that plan didn't  last long.  When I had decided then to get another one, to go along with my SD girl, the MSD size was the next in line.  I knew that I had wanted her to also have the "elf" ears, and I chose the Luts Delf Ttori, which to my amazement was a boy head doll.  I had sent her off to get faced-up with the proper face, and she came back wonderfully, but the body she was on at the time was a boy and just hideous.  So after about a year or so I had seen the Mini Fee Soos. Great body, big boobs, and would match the color pretty well.  Well, when I had gotten the body, the head didn't really fit all that well, and every time I tried to pose her, she's snap herself sill and her head would NEVER stay in the position it was suppose to.  I was never sure if she was going to stay around, and didn't quite know what to do with her, since she was one of the original dolls I had owned.  

When Fairyland took over the MSD line from Luts and started to improve the bodies, I knew that she (Harley) just had to be changed.  With how great Evelynn was working out, I knew this one would be great. I had already tried to put the old head on the new body, and although it worked, it still looked off for some reason.  Well, when I got the new "event head" of the DES, I knew why.  The old Ttori head was really big for a MSD size type of doll, and when put next to the new MNF DES head, it was much smaller.  Since I had already gotten it in my head that I was going to sell her, the automatic choice was to make Harley with the DES MSD head.  So here she is, temporally.  Not make up, no ear pierced, but correct hair and eyes, (at lest for now).  She has already been sent to the spa, to make her the evil little jester I know she can be.

Oh, how I love the DES sculpt.  FL is even going to carry this in their regular catalog from now on.  Who knows, who might come into the house.

We even looked up Harley Quinn in the DC comic bible, and she has blue eyes, blond hair.

And in her Harley Outfit.  In the next month or so, her and Nyteshade, (since they are partners in crime will be wearing matching outfits) So she'll actually be able to come out of the spandex every once and a while.

Now her new "hands" can actually hold things.
