Goodies, Goodies, Goodies

Got a ton of goodies in the last week, and need to just put them up in one post.  First up is a very cute little black and skull dress for Lati Yellow.  I think I'm actually going to let Pearl wear it, and it'll be one of her Halloween outfits.  She even got a pair of black boots to go with it.

And if she does wear it, I think she'll be in her little Love Shack for Halloween, accompanied by these cool goodies.  A fully stocked witch's trunk. A tiny dollhouse size trunk with a silver padlock and key. I love this little trunk and decided to get her things now because with the wedding coming up I know I'll forget. 

It holds, an assortment of things that a young aspiring witch needs:

-black scrying crystal ball on a metal base

-bottle that reads Euphorbium

-tiny Ouija Board

-hand made Book of Shadows

-faux hourglass

-used pillar candle

-wand
-some Tarot Cards

-antique Celestial map

This Halloween Cabinet will fit in her Shack also for the Halloween holiday and holds:

-1 bottle of "Wolfsbane"

-1 bottle of "Graveyard Dirt"

-1 bottle of "Deadly Nightshade"

-1 bottle of "Arsenic"

-1 bottle of "Dragon's Tears"

-1 bottle of "Vampire Blood"

-2 hand made books that ope to blank pages (red suede like and Book of Shadows)

-antique maps on parchment paper

-1 celestial map

-1 Oujia Board

-1 gazing crystal ball

Since there will be a couple of multiple items I think a set will go with Claudia & Bethany.  Two Victorian girls will need their own gazing ball.

The Yellows (all can use) also got some really cute sets of handmade paper greeting cards. One set that's a Gothic Valentine and one set that's a cheery Valentines.  I can't wait to be able to use these and see who gets one.

And I finally had a chance to take pictures of my Jasmine Becket-Griffith Dog Tags. I love everything that she makes, but she's been making these sets of dog tags that are two sided and just a great representation of her art, and pretty affordable to get.  The detailing of these is just so impressive and I know there will be more around the house. I started with her Alice in Wonderland series first and one Halloween one.

Little Bits of Happiness

Oh, my craft room is just overflowing with swaps, and projects to do.  The ATC cards went over so well, and I'm still working on the Tiles, that the next one is Shadow Boxes'. I received my first little Faery Box before Christmas and am so excited about it and the ideas for the next ones to do.  I already have a box full of little beads and baubles to use that I thought I was going to use for favors for the wedding, but now they are going to be used as potion bottles, elixir bottles, and faery wine. I've finally perfected my little bottle labels for the contents and can't wait to start on it.

The eight unfinished boxes that I have are these and are just waiting to be done.  They are 13 x 16 x 1, with 10 separate compartments.  The ideas that I've got written down to do are...

1. Halloween Wedding (duh)

2. Alice in Wonderland

3. Christmas

4. All fairies

5. Little Boy

6. Little Girl

7. Egyptian

8. Valentine

I made a spread sheet of each of these and have various colors that will be used and various miniatures or each.

Just Call Me Blix

So, after decades of waiting for Little Man to be here, and for the last three years for him to understand Christmas, I got to bring out our Elf On the Shelf. I've been carrying this little guy and his story around for so long, I thought he'd never get a chance to get out.  So far Little Man has only talked to him, and looked feverishly for him every morning.  If you don't know about Elf on the Shelf, go and check it out and make it a new tradition.  Every morning now Little Man asks, "Where's Blix?".  Blix is the name that daddy and I came up with and he's been registered also.  It's fun to see where "Blix" winds up everyday.

No matter where "Blix" is sitting in the house, Little Man will take up pages of toys to him and tells him what he wants.  Now to see if Santa listens.
