I want to send a big THANK YOU to all that came, and getting to meet some new members and playing, laughing, eating and just getting to hang out to everyone.
And an even bigger thank you to starherd and her wonderful taking over of the Yahoo group and making it so much better and organized, and putting the time and hard effort into it. We are all very thankful for your dedication and work.

Today, I hosted our four year COBJD anniversary meet. I had been planning this almost to the minute after getting done with our wedding festivities, and couldn't wait to start on a new project. Even while on the plane to Jamaica I was doodling all what I wanted to make, bake and decorate the house with for the meet. Since our first meet with most of the members was right around Valentines, I decided to just keep that theme going. The pinks, reds, and whites are just so fun and festive. And it gives me a chance to put up everything pink in the house.
We've had lots of members come in over the years, and some of the originals have left. We have a lot of ladies, and some guys that are more than happy to host a meet, plan an outing in Tiny Town, the Tea Shop and practically anywhere and anyone that will have us. And we are a rowdy, but almost sane bunch. It's so nice to get together with like minded people who take the time out of their families life to enjoy themselves, even for a few hours once a month.
I stepped down from Co-Mod, just shortly about a year before the wedding. Just way too much to do for the wedding that I wanted to concentrate on, getting favors done, going to cake testings, and just downright enjoying the year.
Due to that, some of my babies hadn't been played with, but that' okay. I know I wont be getting out of this hobby any time soon, and if anything, with some recent cash funds, will be diving way more into it, the way I've wanted in the last year. Even with moving some furniture out of the upper library, I've been able to play durning the day and play with Little Man at the same time. I'm so thankful that I got into this hobby, and met the incredible people that I have from all over the planet for the most part, and especially love the ladies here in our local group. We all don't get out to see each other as much as what we want, but I know that will change, especially with summer months coming up. I'm also so thankful that I have a wonderful man in my life that allows me to indulge into my own little world of Reddiker Woodes, and that he isn't creeped out by the dolls or the amount of money I spend on them. Not so much he can say, since he spends on his fine scale models, and computer games, so we balance each other out, which is important before getting into a relationship. FireHoth even has his own BJD on his desk and I think that's just the most wonderful thing in the world.
Even Little Man has grown up in the group. I remember the first meet that I went to (missed the one down in the Colorado Springs) but went to the one in Arvada, when Little Man was just barley two months old I think. He was in his car seat and all of these crazy lovely doll loving ladies were swarming around dolls, props, outfits, wigs, eyes, and everything else in the doll world. He was our "official, unofficial" mascot, the dolly that was very loosely strung at the time, and needed better elastic. I loved that. Up until recently him and dad have been to pretty much all meets, and growing at the same time, and getting to really know the ladies in the group, which is just even more personal and fun for me. He's not afraid of anyone and has no problem bossing people around and trying to get them to do his bidding. He's a little tyrant minion, I'm sure of it.
Now, with the last couple of years with DDE moving down close to me, it's so hard to not go over there and just spend, spend, spend. I always need Rement, and an outfit for someone, plus I love the ladies at the store, and if the timing is right, I'm able to bring some cookies to them on the weekends. Bribes for cookies always work out for playing in the store all day long. I'm almost afraid to get my car, because I know Little Man and I will be able to make it there in under 15 minutes, YIKES, but the Honda Element will holds lots of dollies in the back seat, I'm sure of it. HA HA HA.
EDIT: NOTE TO SELF NO MORE DOLLS, Yeah right.
So without further ado, sorry to ramble for so long, just trying to keep the new members up to date some how.
