Izzy Gets a Remote Office

Yeah, so apparently since I don't think I have ENOUGH to do, I decided to make a little room box on top of my desk for Izzy, my ghost writer.  She has this really cool SideShow collectible desk/chair set and it's been sitting with her on my craft desk.  Well with everything else that is on my desk, she and the table were alwasy getting pushed aside or moved or stuff laid over her. So I figured the best thing to do...

...make ANOTHER room box. She has her own eight room house in the doll room, but since I'm always at my desk writing and she is also, it just made more sense for the time being to make her a proper office where she's right next to me. She's going to blog about it in a few hours, but here ar some teaser shots. I'm really liking how the entire thing turned out and I even seem like I have more room on my desk with her being in a desiganated space.

Marco Polo At the Mall

So this past Saturday I picked up Shlee and we had two agendas in mind.  Get new eyes and some outfits from DDE and walk around the mall with some of the girls.  We wound up not getting to DDE till almost closing, but the ladies were nice enough to let us hang out for a little longer.  Serenity came back with another set of 12mm eyes, but this time in a really pretty green, and Izzy had came back with 12mm Alice Blue, but as of this writing I've changed them out, yet again.

Blaire, Shlee's Puki wanted to play a game of Marco Polo, and the girls had no way to say no.

The girls had to finally give up and play with Blaire.  She was most pleased.

 

We even had some play time over at our American Girl Store.  They loved the tree house.

I think I see a new pony in Serenity's future.

  

At lunch the girls got the drop on Blaire.

Finally back home to try out the new picnic bench and umbrella and chat with the Poe sisters.

  

Cranes & Cats

Couple of weeks ago we had our "movie night" and as always it was wonderful.  We had a Chinese theme to it, and that included homemade cranes by Miss W.  Izzy got her first one and I think she's quite taken by it.

Izzy's Return

Izzy hasn't been around for the last couple of years.  She's been in hiding, from yes, her father because he had actually gotten too close at one time. She will be back very soon with her blog, Notes From the Cottage and can't wait to write again. Some quick snapshots of her since her return.  There will be some posts about her very soon.  

When I had the original idea for Izzy, I had wanted her to be part elf, and have a little more harder look to herself.  Well, at the time that Bambicrony had released the Elf Pepe, I had completely overlooked her until after she had gone out of stock. I have been able to get in touch with them and simply asked if they would consider making her mold again.  Much to my surprise they said yes, and "Izzy" has a new look to her. Slimmer body, toothier resin and elf ears. I was even able to get her original outfit.  The old Izzy will most likely go to our son.  He's been so wonderful with dolls, and she can turn into a great skater dude.  More on that later.

Izzy Out of Hiding

Well, she is for a little while at least.  With getting pictures of so many of the gang, Izzy decided that she could come down and hang out for a little bit.  Her and Ash apparently have some things to discuss, so it was good for her.  One thing I found out about Izzy...her and Ash can wear the same size hats, so she needs some new Beret's I'm thinking.  I just love seeing these two together.

Hi all.  Just some great pictures and post on Notes From the Cottage.  Izzy is finally back to work.  She's going a little slow, but that's okay, she's got a ton to do and catch up on, but she wanted to put up her pictures of this past Memorial Day adventures.  Hope you enjoy.

Izzy's Mini Vacation Part One & Part Two.

Izzy'z New Couch

With all of the goings on here at the Woode, a new couch came in for an old favorite of mine.  She hasn't been seen a lot but will be making a come back soon.  I had ordered this couch from Valley of the Dolls way back in November I think and it just came the other day.  I had originally bought it for Minnie Paws, but it's a little big for her.  It fits Izzy really well though.  It's a little pinker than what I thought it was, but it's so elegant looking.  It's going to go really well in the new house, and on the nightstand where she seems to stay.  It's a cream colored cushion and rolled pillow.  Now I just need a sweet little throw blanket for her.

Izzy's Outfits

I've been so preoccupied with the Two Sprites pub, that Izzy was getting slightly disjointed and let me know about it.  Busy also with waiting for several new members of the Coven to come home, and had gotten a new Bambicrony Kumi, white skin doll, to be my Absinthe Fairy, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.  Just not feeling like she is going to work out, and will probably sell her head/face. :(

We had gone out over the weekend, and you should always look at the Christmas ornament section for tons of goodies, doll wise or other.  I think she looks great at Mrs. Claus.

This outfit is from Spampy Stuff.  Izzy has her own little Oriental retreat, and just had to have the proper pajamas.  More of her and her room can be seen at her site.

Her last outfit for the week came from Canada.  I had seen this outfit on another lovely Bambicrony girl and the lady who made it was getting rid of a bunch of her stuff.  Came with the overalls, shirt and pink high-tops.  How cute. The wig is a new wig from Bambicrony that was suppose to be on my Absinthe Fairy, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen now.
