Well, this weekend we were suppose to go out to the antique store and shop around. But it was so gloomy and cold out we decided to stay home. I still think I could've gotten some great photos but I'll have lots of time for that. But as you can see, I was all ready to brave the elements.
I'm just a girl who loves to write and take photos.
Okay, I'm not quite sure why this box was sitting on my handlers desk, but I've been told it's for a new resident coming into the Woodes. REALLY???? Don't I have ENOUGH to do as it is? Apparently NOT. But there is something sinister about this box and it's not even done yet from what I've been able to find out. It does look vaguly familar to a wardrobe I once had before I left on my little quest, but I guess that's neither here or there now. Still, I"m not happy about it, and I've heard rumors about a "bounty" on someone head?
It looks pretty tame right now, but I know that's goign to change. I honeslty think it's too small for anyone to "come" through, but you never know about this place.
I"m at a loss for words, and I think it would be better for me to just go and sleep on it.
YAHOO. Just reading emails tonight and I found out that my Tumblr posts are being followed by Tiny Feet Magazine. Tiny Feet is an online/printed and just recently digital magazine featuring the magical world of dolls and miniatures, and the people who own them. It's a super cool magazine with tons of great photos and articles of our kind. Go to www.tinyfeet.com and check it out. They are currently on their fourth issue and some day I hope to grace their pages, but for now for them to follow me is more than exciting. :)

Hello all. Just doing some late night filing and note checking. It's a little cool tonight so having some hot hazelnut chocolate to warm me up. There is still so much to do here at the Woodes and I've come to find out there are MORE residents who will be joining us. Yikes.

That's right, I'm back and am so eager to do what I was brought here for. Two posts in two days right. Some sort of record. I'm still working out some things and trying to find time to do what needs to be done, but this SHOULD be the year that some more information comes out about myself, my sister Joey and the residents of Reddiker Woodes.

Over the weekend I got to go out with the family and they took me to a theater hike. How cool is that. There is a company called Theater Hikes, that puts on little plays while you are on a hike or in the park. The weather was great and just the right amount of people showed up.
Before we started off, we had some great apple cider handed out to us.
The play was being put on at the Cherokee Ranch and Castle. The castle was closed, but still made for some great pictures at the end of the play.
The entire play was accompained by a violinist. Hearing the music in the woods was so beautiful.
We are off. So glad that there was no snow for todays hike.
We are getting settled in for the first act. Everyone had snacks and drinks and blankets to sit down and watch the actors.
The big guy next to me is wyntormoons son. He let me share the blanket so I didn't have to sit on the bare ground. If I had known little ones to come I'd brought Joey, but she doesn't like to camp out much.
Act two. That white thing there way off in the distance is the "monster" we are told.
Dr. Frankenstien is getting ready to bring the monster to life.
The "monster" was really cool. He tried to make it like he was coming after us.
Act 3: We find out about more deaths in the village and the police come to ask questions.
Had to stop and take in some more scenery.
Act 4: Elizabeth is DEAD, who dunit?
Act 5: Dr. Frankenstien throws himself off the cliff, and one of the kids in the audience got to be a dead body.
Act 6: HMMM who really was the murder? You'll have to go on a hike and find out for yourself.
Yeah for the actors. What a wonderful play and hike.
I found out that I get to go back to the castle in a few weeks and will try and sneak some pictures from inside. But the outside was breathtaking.
It was a pretty good day. I like going on these new adventures, and hope you enjoyed it also.
Hi all. Sorry I've been so busy, but we were in "building mode" here recently. But all that is finished and I have a brand new office that sits on top of wyntormoon's desk. Yes, I do have an office over in Hyacinth Cottage, but this is a little more practicle for the time being and it's really cute. I have windows and a door. Although the door is more decoration and for residents like Joey and the Poe Sisters to come in and out of, but still it fits the room. We tried many color combinations and many configurations but a brand new box, new windows and doors were the best way to go. I finally picked the colors of blue stripes and brown leather to go with the silver desk and chair. I still am moving in and wanting to put up pictures and some shelves but for the most part it's done and I'm not getting knocked all over the place now. Wyntormoon is a perfect employer to work for, she's always thinking of making my life here at Reddiker Woodes easy.
So the first run at this was a tiny room box that was already made. It was very cool and had that fifty's vibe going on, but when I stood up I would hit my head on the ceiling and that wasn't going to work. I do like the colors but I think Joey or some of the smaller residents would appreicate it better.
Then next up were some color options and trying out some differnt wallpapers. The flowered wallpaper seemed to work for a while.
So we thought we might have the color scheme of the room picked out, but then where to put me??? There is a very cool nine room box on the right hand side of wyntormoons office, and it would've worked okay, but a little cramped, and no windows.
So back to the orginal desk and some configurations.
The the old Mini Wheat stage was taken out of storage and it seemed like a great fit, but the walls weren't working well.
Then a very cool room box came out of storage. It was great. Lots of light, windows that opened even a skylight, but it was a little small. I thought if I reconfigured it, it would work out great. See...
But it was a bit small also, so off to the craft store for some other supplies. What could possibely come of all of this?
A beautiful, big and all mine grand box is what came of it.
Like I said earlier, the door is a little small for me, but that's okay.
I opted for a darker color pallete that what I'm use to. I like the combination of the browns, blues nad whites. Silver chair rails were added to compliment my work table.
And it never fails, wherever I wind up at, other little creatures seem to just appear at random. They are sort of my own little Squishables. But NOT from the same company.
Finally all of my equipment in one place. I just need some pictures and some shelves. I like how it all turned out.
