Gothic Goddess mother of a beautiful little almost four year old.

I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what my “about” page was going to say, and have come up with many interesting things. I’ve been looking up “Mission Statements or Artists Statements” as of late, and that seems more of what I want to say than just an ordinary “about” page.
I’m 100% sure that these pages of mine are going to evolve into my writing-crafting-diversions-fetish-art-nerdy-obsessive compulsion rants.

This will be a hopefully great daily/weekly diary of this busy Goth wannabe siren, and my endless adventures in manic creativity and the endless searching for, finding and sharing of inspiration. I’ve already gotten much of what I love organized, so many wheels can turn now.

The greater part of my blog is going to be dedicated to two distinctive aspects of my life: (1) all that is dolly, (Reddiker Woodes) and (2) my family, which consists of my regular existence, however you want to describe regular.

Family will consist of the Little Man in my life, our almost two-year-old beautiful son, who is just the epitome of the best of the both of us. Our travels, adventures and the day to day life of being parents. With an occasional rant and picture or two of our watch dog, of all of 11.3 pounds, who is affectingly called now from her AKC registered name of Merry to Mer-Mer.

Reddiker Woodes, is actually a play on several names. Neither of which I can discuss here, but it is something that my love and I came up with when we moved into our home several years ago. It is a world not unlike our own, but just slightly out of reach. It’s like peeking through a keyhole and staring into an odd parallel dimension where nothing is what it appears to be. On my alternate site, Notes From the Cottage, there will be meticulous background stories, and profiles of the dreamlettes creatures that I call the residents of Reddiker Woodes. One of which in particular is, Isabelle Fontana, my resident writer. She will help me to tell the stories and photograph the inhabitants that dwell here.

I will bring you crafting projects that I have years worth to get caught up on, a healthy or unhealthy passion for Asian Ball Jointed Dolls which is my inspiration for many a long night of writing, researching and photography fetishes. My Faery/Pagan/Wiccan way of life, and lots of pixie dust from the neighborhood faeries in the garden. You could describe it as a neo-gothic Victorian drug induced moist trance. The residents of Reddiker Woodes promise to delight.

These pages my sporadically contain unashamed use of ghastly speech, schizophrenic theoretical rambling, gloomy humor and opinions that may seem off kilter and way to the left at times.
